I know that I have been very lax in writing on my blog. I am recommitting myself to posting here. And I have a good reason to do so this week.
I am in San Diego, California to attend the National Pastors Convention. I have already begun to think about the church and how leaders of the church impact the movement of it. I sat at breakfast today and watched other church leaders and how they interact. While I cannot say that I have totally processed my observations, I do have questions rolling through my mind. So I decided to begin my blogging once again by posing some questions. I will be trying to respond to these questions throughout today and would be happy if any of you added your thoughts. Here are the questions:
1. Why is it that sometimes church leaders act like bigjerks when interacting with strangers?
2. Why is it that some church leaders need to be the center of attention?
3. How does the world view the church when it gathers in large numbers?
4. What are we communicating to non-believers and believers on the fringe through our actions?
It is fitting that I reinitiate my blog while in San Diego because it is here that I got the idea to begin a blog in the first place. I look forward to a week of discovery and also any comments that any readers may have along the way.
